Gujarat Rain Update: Gujarat Weather Update: The state has been witnessing steady rainfall for the past several days as the southwest monsoon has hit major parts of the country. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next 5 days. The weather forecast released by the IMD on Saturday at 1 pm has placed four Gujarat districts on orange alert, while a yellow alert was issued for the rest of the districts in the state.
Gujarat Weather Today: Devbhumi Dwarka, Kutch, Two Other Districts On Orange Alert
The weather department has placed Devbhumi Dwarka, Kutch, Junagarh and Porbandar on orange alert on Saturday for very heavy rains at isolated locations with thunderstorms and lightning. All other districts in the state have been placed under a yellow alert for heavy rainfall and the possibility of thunderstorms, lightning.

Gujarat Weather Forecast: All Districts Remain on Alert For Till July 2
As the state has been grappling with severe rainfall and flash flood conditions due to extreme rainfall, the weather department has placed all the districts of the state on one or another type of weather alert till July 2. All the districts of the state will remain under a yellow alert on June 29 for heavy rain with thunderstorms and thunderstorms with lightning and moderate rain, except Kutch. Kutch has been put under an orange alert for very heavy rains at isolated locations.
On June 30 and July 1, all the districts will remain on yellow alert and Navsari, Valsad will remain under orange alert, with all other districts on yellow warning, respectively. Navsari and Valsad are on orange alert for July 2 for very heavy rainfall and thunderstorms, while the rest districts are on yellow alert.

On Saturday, Devbhoomi Dwarka received the highest rainfall of 2.4 inches from 6.00 am to 4.00 pm. Apart from this, Porbandar received 1.65 inches of rainfall.
